Here at Super Cubes one of our focuses is winning back time in our day and then try to help you win some back too.
There are many things you can do in your mornings to help save time and if you choose to exercise in the morning this household hack is for you!
Think about your morning situation for a minute.
You might set your alarm for 4am and expect to take half an hour to get ready, jump into the car and drive ready to hit the gym around 4.30am.
Imagine if you could easily knock 5 to 10 minutes or more off this half an hour.
Well you can.
The night before you need to get all of your gear ready for the gym, then choose what you’re going to wear.
But instead of leaving the clothes on the end of your bed, just sleep in them... Easy.
If you exercise in the morning and want more time, sleep in your workout gear!
Now it’s time for the exciting part, how are you going to use all your spare time you’re getting.
Time saved by sleeping in your workout gear
Here are the total minutes and hours you can save just by sleeping in your workout gear.
We have counted four days in a week with 10 minutes allocated a day for time saving.
This ten minutes allows for extra alarm snoozing, scratching and yawn time as well and has allowed for days off exercise as well.
Your own calculations may vary depending on how keen you are with exercising throughout your week.
Daily = 10 minutes saved daily
Weekly = 40 minutes saved weekly
Monthly (based on a 4 week month) = 160 minutes saved a month
Yearly = 1,920 minutes saved a year
Note as well, these time calculations have been rounded down from the 4.345 weeks in a month, 52.143 weeks in the year and don’t take into account the 366 days that occur in a Leap Year.
We just thought we’d let you know.
Now it’s time for you to try this hack and the two last questions you have to ask yourself are;
- What are you going to do with your free time?
- Are you going to wear your shoes to bed?
We have a few suggestions for you to utilise all this extra time you now have available.
In a month you could easily watch any one of these movies, Avengers: Infinity Wars, Thor: Ragnarok, Top Gun, The Notebook or Sleepless in Seattle and still have extra time left over.
You could read books or study!
And last, but not least, you could set your alarm clock to 4.10am and steal back an extra 1,920 minutes of beauty sleep a year.
You can let us know on our Facebook page what you’d do with this extra time!
